For over 30 years, Serenity House has consistently and successfully expanded substance abuse services and capacity throughout Chicago land area to meet the ever increasing demand for treatment. Serenity House serves hundreds of men and women each year in their extended residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient, DUI services, special adolescent programs, and recovery home programs. These programs also provide a holistic approach that focuses on integrating men and women back into their surroundings as self-sufficient, productive members of their communities while improving the quality of life for their families.

Serenity House began as a four bed cottage in 1985. Today they have a current capacity of 107 beds in men and women’s residential programs. The Halfway house services are unique in Du Page County as they remain the only facility of its kind offering a 90 day extended residential treatment program.
